��%8F� Experienced Chow Chow Home Needed for Bao ��%90� Bao is a handsome 12-month-old cream Chow Chow looking for a very special home with an experienced owner who understands the breed. Bao is a loving, affectionate boy once he forms a bond with his person. He enjoys: �'ۢ Long walks �'ۢ Watching birds out the window �'ۢ Belly rubs �'ۢ Having his beautiful coat brushed �'ۢ Lots of treats and snacks �'ۢ Training for treats �'ۢ Relaxing close to his family He is: ��� Crate trained ��� Potty trained ��� Knows basic commands ��� Healthy and up to date on veterinary care ��� CKC Registerable ���Not yet neutered, but he can be neutered before placement if requested. Bao does have behavioral challenges and requires an experienced, breed-savvy home. He is naturally wary of strangers and can become defensive when he feels uncomfortable or threatened. Bao needs an owner who understands canine body language, is patient, willing to earn his trust, and committed to managing his behavior responsibly so he can continue to thrive. My mother has been diagnosed with dementia, and much of our time and care has understandably shifted toward supporting her. Because of this, I believe Bao deserves a home where he can receive the time, attention, and continued socialization he needs to thrive and live his best life. His ideal home would be: �'ۢ Adult-only (or older, dog-savvy teenagers) �'ۢ Someone experienced with Chow Chows or other guardian breeds �'ۢ A calm, structured environment �'ۢ Preferably as the only pet, or with careful introductions if another dog is present Like many Chow Chows, Bao is loyal, intelligent, and independent. Once he trusts someone, he is a wonderful companion, but he needs a family that respects his boundaries and is committed to setting him up for success. 3-3-3 method for a chow chow to get to trust you is key.
