About Chloe

Meet Chloe ��ե Chloe's story hasn't always been an easy one. This precious little girl was picked up as a stray alongside her sister, terrified and unsure of the world around her. Everything seemed to move too fast for Chloe, and it quickly became apparent that she may have endured unkindness in her past. She bears scars on her legs and head, and if someone moves too quickly around her, she'll instinctively crouch down as if bracing for something she's experienced before. What Chloe has taught us is that she simply needs patience, understanding, and gentle reassurance that she is finally safe. Since joining her foster family, Chloe has made incredible strides. She has met all sorts of new friends, including playful puppies, adult dogs, cats, and even a KuneKune pig! While she's still trying to decide what exactly that pig thing is, she has done wonderfully with everyone she's encountered. She can get a little enthusiastic when playing with puppies, but her tail is always wagging, and she's easily redirected with gentle guidance. Her foster home is full of activity, with two 10-year-old boys, a 12-year-old daughter, and a 20-year-old son. Chloe has been more cautious around the boys and seems to be especially unsure around men. While we can't know exactly what happened in her past, it's clear that she needs a little extra time to build trust with them. Her foster family is helping her every step of the way-with plenty of patience, positive experiences, and treats always in hand during greetings. Each day, Chloe grows a little braver and a little more confident. And underneath that uncertainty is the sweetest girl imaginable. Chloe is quiet, affectionate, and happiest when she's right beside her foster mama, soaking up love and companionship. She has come so far in such a short amount of time, and we know that with a family willing to continue showing her kindness and patience, Chloe will blossom into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. Chloe isn't looking for perfection-she's simply looking for someone who will show her what she may have never known before: that people can be gentle, love can be unconditional, and home is a place where she will always be safe. �٩�
