(willing to drive up to 250 miles). 5 Y/O MALE LONGHAIRED GSD (DOB: 10/13/20). His name is 'Nez'. Background: Current Shepherd Parent has had Nez since he was weaned. UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed, but is currently waiting to get into a Humane Society Program to be neutered. NOT Good with kids. Nez is not aggressive toward children, but he plays extremely rough. He will tackle children, grab loose clothing, and pull them to the ground during play. He currently lives with children ages 2, 4, and 6, but would do best in a home WITHOUT kids. NOT Good with dogs. Nez is Reactive and has a dominant personality. NOT Good with cats. House trained. NOT Crate trained. Nez does not need a crate and successfully Free Roams the home with Good Behavior. Any known medical issues?: Prone to ear infections. Nez was also diagnosed with Prostatitis once, and put on Antibiotics. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: None disclosed. ENERGY LEVEL: Average. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: Medium. Weighs 100 lbs. Currently on Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain food. Good with car rides?: Yes. Socialized with: *people?: Yes. *dogs?: No. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): Yes. Nez typically sniffs new people briefly and then is comfortable with them. He may jump up from excitement but is not aggressive. Loves: Food, squeaky toys, running, being chased, fetch, pleasing his person, treats, training and learning, frisbees, cuddling, walks, chilling on the couch, playing with dogs he knows, balls, being near his person, stuffed animals (especially his stuffed lamb), Nylabones, and destroying toys, adventures, sticks, attention. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: This breed is super intelligent. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): Fair. *Good on a Leash?: Fair. *Lovable?: This breed is super lovable once they claim you as their person/family. *Eager and fast learner?: This breed is super fast learners when they are being committed to and worked with. He's a bit of a loner but he has his moments where he will just fall into your arms for a few minutes. He will always be ready to go outside.
