YOUNG DOG....OLD SOUL!!! Our MOST PRECIOUS puppy is GROWING UP in a FOSTER HOME! We NEED to find his FOREVER! Kai is an amazing 4-5 month old puppy who came to us from a county in the coalfields of WVa who doesn't even have an animal shelter! He has been raised in a loving foster home who has exposed him to many other dogs and has started the housetraining process. In new situations, he is stand-offish and observant. At home, he is calm, gentle and responsive. He is loyal, loving and wants to trust you to speak to him and protect him. His sensitive and intuitive nature requires a family who will see is beauty and love him forever! An adopter who chose one of his litter mates had a dna test done! Kai is a mixed breed dog who is mostly pitbull and german shepherd. He's 100% wonderful and sure add love and light to the family who chooses him! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3 charitable, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule individual adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
