About Kaluha

Kaluha is the sweetest long haired German Shepherd that we got when she was 8 weeks old. She is an incredible, very active dog that has been around other animals including dogs, cats, goats, and cows. She is a little skeptical of some female dogs and hyper fixates on cats that will hiss and run from her because she likes to play. She is wonderful with our 6 m.o. as well as our 6 year old. She's super high energy so she wouldn't be a great fit for kids who are unsure of dogs. The only reason I am looking to rehome her is because of some unexpected family issues that are making it difficult for her to get the attention she needs. We are looking ideally for an active household with lots of time for her or someone who may live on a farm where she can run around freely. She has never had an accident inside, is crate trained but hasn't been in one in a long time, doesn't chew unless extremely bored, walks okay on a leash but typically is just running freely.
