Bonded Rescue Rabbits Seeking Their Forever Indoor Home %BD%BD%90%BD%BD%9D%A4%BD%BD%8F%BD%BD%90%BD After much thought and many tears, I am looking for the perfect forever home for my bonded rabbit pair, June and Teddy. Due to ongoing health issues, I am no longer able to provide the long-term care they deserve. This decision has not been made lightly. My goal is to find a loving, stable home where they can continue to thrive together. Meet June & Teddy: June: - White Rex rabbit - Born approximately June 2023 - Confident, curious, and full of personality - Definitely the ring leader of the pair - Loves exploring and supervising everything happening around her Teddy: - Black-and-white Holland Lop - Born approximately October 2023 - Sweet, gentle, and easygoing - Often follows June's lead - Enjoys relaxing nearby and being part of the action About Them: - Bonded pair (must stay together) - Both rescued - Both spayed/neutered - Microchipped - Up-to-date on vaccinations and veterinary care - Indoor-only house rabbits - Litter box trained - Comfortable free-roaming in the home - Accustomed to daily interaction and household activity They currently live alongside my two Golden Retrievers, who are calm, low-energy dogs with very low prey drive. While every home is different, June and Teddy have done very well in a peaceful household environment with respectful dogs. Personality: These are not rabbits that want to be carried around or constantly cuddled. Like many rabbits, they prefer all four feet on the ground. However, they genuinely enjoy being around their people and will happily accept pets, head scratches, and nose rubs. They are wonderful companions who bring a quiet, calming presence to a home. Ideal Home: I am looking for someone who: - Understands rabbit care or is willing to learn - Will keep them as indoor family members - Can provide room to exercise and explore - Has the time and commitment rabbits deserve - Understands that rabbits can live 10+ years and are a long-term commitment This is not a first-come, first-served situation. Finding the right home is much more important than finding a quick home. If you are interested, please send me a message telling me a little about yourself, any rabbit experience you may have, and the setup you have planned for them. I will provide my phone number after initial contact to help reduce spam. Located near Charlottesville, Virginia. Please share to help June and Teddy find the loving forever home they deserve. %BD%9D%A4%BD%BD%8F%BD%BD%90%BD%BD%BD%90%BD 'The best home for them is the one that will love them as much as I do.'
