She is gentle but shy and nervous. Currently, she and Phyllis don't get along-Phyllis tends to instigate, and Nellie holds her ground. This may settle once all the girls are spayed. In the meantime, Nellie enjoys the company of Beesly. About Nellie: %90%BE Curious and scared-first time in a house was scary but exciting %90%BE Groomed and bathed successfully but aversion to paws and ears Nellie is still learning about life outside the kennel. She has been introduced to cats, but she gets very excited if they run and seems confused if they don't. With careful desensitization, controlled introductions, and boundaries, living with a cat might be possible-but there are no guarantees. Adoption Info: Nellie is best suited for an experienced home that can handle a shy dog, provide patience with her curiosity and confidence, and continue her progress in a calm, structured environment. If you're ready to give this sweet, curious Clumber a loving home where she can thrive, Nellie is ready to meet you! %90 '%90------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved, a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match is found, adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is prioritized if a yard is present. Temperament cannot be and is not guaranteed.
