About Ozzy von Osterfeld

Ozzy von Osterfeld is a stunning 12 month old German Shepherd. When anyone meets Ozzy, his sweet and gentle temperament becomes quickly apparent. We can imagine him as the perfect family dog, good with other dogs, great meeting new people, engaging and comfortable just hanging out in front of the rescue. When we first met him, he was sitting in the back seat of a car, not knowing what the future held for him; his worried little face broke our hearts. We didn't realize until after his bath that he was actually a very happy dog. As one of the volunteers sat on a bench in the office, he just jumped up right next to her with the biggest smile. Everyone had to laugh, it was as if he knew we would take a picture. He walks well on a leash, it's just his enthusiasm that has to be dampened from time to time. He also loves walking side by side with other dogs. He goes in playgroup every day and enjoys mingling with many different dogs, but he also keeps going back to the staff for some pets and attention. (He's not for cats.) Ozzy is definitely a kind-hearted dog, waiting to complete your family.
