About Diva-FOSTER NEEDED!!!

Beautiful Diva was rescued by Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue from Chicago Animal Care and Control, so is now safe. She is going to be sent to their training partner for evaluation and decompression to help her feel safe and not afraid. Once that is complete, Diva will need a foster/foster to adopt home, so please apply to Mit Liebe rescue, since they need foster/foster to adopt homes very much!!! Without fosters/foster to adopt homes, cannot save these great doggies at shelters. Sharing the following from the rescue org. when it first evaluated Diva while she was at Chicago Animal Care and Control: Diva was found as a stray, about a week ago. She is 1-3 years old. When she first came to the shelter, she was very uncomfortable with handling, but has come a long way, though. She now accepts petting as long as go slow. Diva still has a ways to go, but considering it hasn't been that long, and a shelter environment isn't the most conducive, has made very good progress. She also has a leash test at the shelter, where she met a small male dog, in which she shows interest by wagging her tail in a relaxed manner, did some sniffing, generally did not pull on her leash to get closer to the doggie. Diva would do best in a home with adults who will give her the time she needs to further decompress and go slow with her, so she can fully blossom.
