About Dixie

We are looking to rehome our 2 1/2-year-old female Vizsla to a loving, active home. She is AKC registered, not spayed, and has been formally trained in basic obedience commands. She has been both an inside and outside dog, but due to a recent move into an apartment, we know this is not the environment she needs to truly thrive. She is a high-energy dog who would do best with someone who has space, time, and an active lifestyle. She does well in public, walks well on a collar, and has been trained to always walk on the left side. She has eaten Purina Pro Plan dog food her whole life. Some of her favorite things are playing fetch with a ball, going on walks in the woods, chasing birds and rabbits, and playing in the creek. She would be a great fit for someone familiar with sporting breeds or someone looking for an active outdoor companion. We are asking a $500 rehoming fee to help ensure she goes to a serious, responsible home. A good home is the most important thing to us.
