A few months ago, Olaf wandered into the neighborhood, to a house, and decided he liked the vibes ... family on the porch, another dog, a couple of cats. Yes, this looked good ... and he decided to stay. Searches for 'lost' dogs did not produce any results. He is very gentle, wants to be part of the group, is housebroken, walks well on the leash, is a bit hesitant to enter the car but rides very well once inside. He is nurturing to the cats and hasn't exhibited prey drive toward small animals. He weighs about 84 lbs and was recently vetted, with a clear bill of health, vaccinated, and neutered. It was thought that Olaf would be an excellent companion dog for a senior family member, but due to their age and health, it wouldn't be a forever home for Olaf. Sadly, we need to find a good home where his gentle temperament and loving personality would be appreciated for a long time.
