Little 'Lizzy' was found in rural North Carolina early June. As her old family could not be located she is now ready to find a new forever family. Lizzy is a very sweet, curious, energetic, playful, 34 lb, 7-month old puppy. She's a chocolate lab mix or maybe part Chesapeake Bay retriever. She's generally house trained. She can use a dog door. She is learning to be in a crate. She will sleep in one if not alone in the room. She usually sleeps through the night without needing to potty. Lizzy is very much still a puppy~likes to chew on the toys given to her & needs to learn shoes & other items are not toys. She's also quick to slip through open doors & has figured out how to open our cabinets. She will definitely need some extra patience & training. She's been friendly with everyone. She has met kids briefly on outings. Lizzy seems to do well with other dogs, but can initially be fearful of very large dogs. She loves to play with her older foster pup siblings & bark at the feline siblings. With training, she would probably do alright w/cats in the home. She likes to ride in the car. Little Lizzie is in Love Mutts Rescue a non-profit See all available, links to **apply to adopt, volunteer, foster, donate www.lovemuttsrescue.org
