About Scared Chi *code red

Chihuahua mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

This is a true Hail Mary for this little female Chihuahua who is set to be euthanized at the shelter on Friday 6/19 simply because she is absolutely terrified beyond description. It's clear that she's probably lived her entire life outside with minimal human interaction. We don't know if she was dumped or escaped wherever she came from but apparently some folks in the community were able to capture her in a humane trap. Little did they know that their efforts would result in her being immediately time-stamped for euthanasia as most people don't even want to give dogs like this a shot. And, if she thought she was scared of people out in the community, she is beyond petrified being in the scariest place in the world for a dog - a loud, cold shelter with no way to escape, and just waiting to have her life extinguished. So much so, that they didn't even bother to give her a name. :,-( She needs a HERO right now - someone that either has experience with under socialized animals or someone who is very patient/understanding and most importantly, a home with other dogs that she will immediately take to and learn from them how to interact with and trust humans. Dogs like this trust other dogs and not humans (and we don't blame them one bit), so they look to the pack for guidance and confidence. But there is no reward as great as watching a dog that is sheerly terrified Blossom like a flower once they are in the right environment. ***** If you are interested in possibly being this little girl's hero and giving her a chance to experience love and care for the first time in her life, please TEXT/CALL Aly at 732-604-0625 ASAP as she is currently on borrowed time ***** Thank you for caring about a pet that is beyond urgent in need!
