About Blue Girl

'Blue.' Heeler, Female. 3 yrs old, 30 lbs. Already Spayed. Animal ID# 260610K070 currently at Animal Adoption Center of Blount County in Alabama. Blue is definitely NOT your typical Heeler. This sweet girl is calm, easygoing, and incredibly well-mannered. She walks beautifully on a leash, waits patiently to potty outside, and has an overall gentle, relaxed personality. Blue isn't particularly interested in other dogs and prefers calm, respectful canine companions. She doesn't appreciate hyper dogs getting in her face or crowding her space. She's not aggressive, but she will let them know when she's had enough with a warning growl. She does best with polite, laid-back dogs just like herself. One thing to know: Blue will chase cats, so she needs a cat-free home. Blue came to us from a divorce situation and is used to having plenty of space to roam and explore. A home with a larger yard or some property would be her dream come true. Despite being overwhelmed by the noisy shelter environment, Blue remains a gentle, pleasant girl who truly enjoys kind words, soft pets, and affection. She is the kind of dog I picture with a settled family, enjoying peaceful days, sunny afternoons, and plenty of room to stretch her legs. She's calm, loyal, easy to live with, and will make an absolutely wonderful family companion. Please share Blue and help us find her perfect home.
