About Angus

Angus is a lovable 90-pound American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix who somehow hasn't gotten the memo about how big he is. What he lacks in self-awareness about his size, he more than makes up for in heart - this gentle giant is friendly, eager to please, and absolutely loves people. Angus does best in a home with older children or adults who can help him understand his own strength, as his enthusiasm can accidentally overwhelm little ones. He gets along with most dogs but would truly thrive as the only pet in the home, away from other dogs and cats. An active boy at heart, Angus is leash-reactive and would love a home with a large yard where he can run, explore, and burn off energy on his own terms. That said, don't be fooled - he's equally happy spending the afternoon stretched across the couch, napping like it's his job. Angus is fully potty trained and knows his commands: sit, place, heel, come, and more. He's a smart, biddable dog who just needs the right environment to be his best self.
