About Leo

Leo is a very loved dog raised in my home since 10 weeks of age. His breeding is very much in line with his temperament and is why I listed fear and aggression. and he has some 'Fear Aggression' as the veterinarian reported to me especially when he is with me, he is in 'protect mode,' She didn't think Leo would be a public dog. I socialized him every day in public areas for over a year until he became too protective of me with other large dogs and some people. I use a basket muzzle when I take him places. He is house trained and never went inside even as a small puppy. He just knew and is very intelligent. He is obedience trained and knows his sit and down commands well. He was trained to lead and heal on a leash to the left and does it well. But when in public places or when new people come to the home he is protective. He is very attached to me and I think he would attach well to another primary caregiver. He would also make an excellent guard dog if that is what a person needs provided he is also integrated into the home and is family. He thrives on daily love and attention. Great Pyranesee respond well to praise and positive reinforcement. I need to rehome him due to an international move and I think traveling internationally will be too stressful for Leo.
