About Gizmo

Hello. My name is Gizmo, and I have a few things I'd like to make clear before we begin. First, I run on Gizmo Time. If I want to cuddle, we're cuddling. If I want to play, we're playing. If I want to ignore you for a few minutes while I handle important business, you'll just have to wait your turn. Second, I am absolutely obsessed with toys. Squeaky toys. Crinkly toys. Fuzzy toys. All the toys. In fact, I'd really prefer a home with an entire toy box dedicated exclusively to me. Sharing is not one of my strongest qualities. Some dogs can play tug of war with me, while others may discover that I am willing to defend my prized possessions like a tiny dragon guarding treasure. When it comes to people, I'm a bit selective. I don't hand out my friendship to just anyone. I like to evaluate strangers and decide if they are worthy of my affection. Once you've been approved, though, prepare yourself. I become a full-fledged Velcro dog and would happily spend my days curled up in your lap collecting ear scratches and telling you about my squeaky toy collection. I'm house trained, crate trained, and I completely ignore cats. I think they are beneath my concern. All in all, I'm a pretty cool little dog looking for someone who appreciates my quirky personality, respects my toy empire, and understands that the best relationships are built on mutual admiration and a healthy supply of squeaky toys.
