Jewel lives up to her name. This sweet young boxer mix has one speed: full-on love. She's the dog who will climb into your lap before you've even sat down, press her face against yours like she's known you forever, and generally make it her mission to be as close to you as physically possible at all times. If you're looking for a velcro dog who brings the warmth, Jewel is ready to make herself at home in yours. Jewel is heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. HLCR will cover the entire cost for the duration of her veterinary treatment, and adopters must ensure she receives her medication on time and in full. She is expected to make a full recovery.
