About Juno

German Shepherd mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Message from Juno's fosters: If you're looking for a dog who will make every day a little more fun, Juno might be your perfect match. Juno is a young husky (around 1.5-2 years old) with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and movie-star good looks. He loves nothing more than being part of the action-whether that's a long walk, a hike, a trip to the dog park, a car ride, or simply exploring the world by your side. One of Juno's best qualities is how much he loves people and other dogs. He's the kind of dog who assumes everyone is his friend and greets the world with a wagging tail and happy attitude. At the dog park, he's playful, social, and remarkably easygoing, even when other dogs aren't interested in playing. He truly enjoys making friends wherever he goes. Like many young dogs, Juno is currently in his goofy 'teenage' phase. You'll get plenty of husky charm, playful zoomies, and funny moments along with his sweet personality. He's very food-motivated and eager to learn, making training both fun and rewarding. He already knows sit, stay, come, leave it, down, and paw, and he's currently enrolled in training classes to continue building his skills. When the adventure is over, Juno settles nicely at home and does like his alone time. He'll often pass out in his crate or sleep by his person. He is crate trained. Juno can be a little shy when meeting new people at first. Because of a difficult start in life, he sometimes prefers to observe quietly before opening up. But once he realizes he's safe, his affectionate, loyal personality shines through. We've found him to be gentle, friendly, and sweet with everyone he's met, including children. An active home with a yard, nearby trails, or regular access to parks would be a dream for Juno. He thrives when he has opportunities to run, explore, and be part of the family. After spending the last 7-8 months with Juno, I can confidently say he's one of those special dogs who leaves a lasting impression. He's loving, goofy, loyal, endlessly entertaining, and ready to find the forever family he deserves.
