About Athena

It's is with a heavy heart that I have to post this. I need to rehome my Daniff (Great Dane/English Mastiff), Athena. She is going to be 4 on August 20th. We're had her since she was 12 weeks old. She has had all her shots as a puppy. She is healthy, but will need a few updated shots. We also never got the funds together to spay her. Please do that if you want her. We are rehoming her because she has decided she is the alpha over our female, 6 year old GSD. It's causing anxiety for my other dog and stress in our home. We can't continue this way unfortunately. She doesn't act this way with the chihuahua we have. She is a big, wonderful, calm and loving dog otherwise. A gentle giant for sure. She gets along with our cat, small grandchildren, our chihuahua and other dogs. Our neighbor lets their lab outside and she sometimes goes over to sniff her out without issue. So she's an all around good dog. Very relaxed! Heavy, maybe 150lbs. Not sure tho. Sleeps a lot and snores loud at times lol. She's trained and housebroken. She's an indoor dog but likes it outside. She'll start to whine when she wants back in. I'm looking for a family to take her in. Preferably one without a large dog. BUT, that's not a deal breaker if you can handle the dominance issue that might arise. Located in Pollock Pines.
