About Kiara

Kiara (Sissy) is a full blooded Saint Bernard. She is 7 yrs old (birthdate 4/8/19). She is very friendly with the people and kids inside her home. The issue we have with her is that she will try/will bite anyone who she doesn't know outside of the house. She is also not friendly with any dogs outside of her home. She has been with our family since the day she was born. We have her dad and had her mom until she passed away a couple years ago. A few months ago, she attacking a neighbor again outside of our apartment so my daughter took her because she had a fenced yard for her to play & run in. My daughter also had a dog that Kiara gets along with. The other day (6/11/26), one of the neighbors was at the gate of their backyard and Kiara bit his hand. It wasn't real hard or anything big and it just barely broke the skin. Kiara was protecting her family in her yard. Once the landlord found out about this, he said my daughter can no longer keep her. She isn't a danger but, for insurance reasons, the landlord doesn't want to be held liable. I love Kiara to pieces. She is my baby girl. I am crying typing this. I would take her back in a heartbeat if my health was better. I have a hard time controlling her when we are out on the leash. I want her to find a very loving home with a fenced in yard to run in. She loves watching birds and chasing them but she isn't fast enough to catch them. She's very loving and sweet. She loves being all up in your business and sitting in your lap. She just needs someone to love her as much as I do.
