About Violet Mae

Violet Mae is a 2 year old 42 pound smaller standard Black Tri Australian Shepherd! Violet is on the search for her forever family! Violet Mae lost her family due to no fault of her own. They had to move states to transfer jobs, and the new city would only allow 3 dogs, so they had to find placement for 2/5 of the dogs. Violet's mom was very sad. Violet Mae had her world rocked upside down, since that's the only home she knew. Violet Mae will need a home willing to understand that she's still learning what life is about with new people in it. She has lots of potential to be someone's best friend. She has been doing well with three Aussies in her foster home. Her favorite thing is to carry a toy around with her. She loves to play, but she absolutely loves to run! An active home with another dog of similar size and energy will be important for her to thrive! She can walk on a leash, but needs to work more on those skills. A fenced backyard will be important for her.
