About LIL MANN & LIL GIZMO

LIL MANN and LIL GIZMO (aka Lil Gizzy) are adorable 4-year-old bonded Chihuahua brothers who each weigh 5.3 pounds. These sweet boys were surrendered because their mom has cancer and are now looking for a forever home where they can stay together, just as they have their entire lives. Both boys are affectionate, happy little dogs who love spending time with their people. They enjoy curling up in a lap for snuggles, and LIL MANN has a particularly adorable habit of perching on the arm of the couch with his head resting on your shoulder and LIL GIZMO tends to stick like glue to his foster mom. They are always excited to see their foster parents and can be found waiting at the baby gate when someone comes home, bouncing with excitement and wagging their tails. These brothers love to play together, wrestle, and entertain each other. LIL MANN is especially fond of stuffed toys and enjoys carrying them around and playing with them. They have done wonderfully with all of the dogs in their foster home and have been friendly and outgoing from the day they arrived. We do not know how they would be with kids and that combined with their small size means that we would prefer home with older kids or adults only. Cats are a complete unknown. LIL MANN and LIL GIZMO are still working on their house training and will need a patient family willing to continue helping them learn. LIL GIZMO loves praise and is doing really well. They had a tendency to mark, but they were recently neutered, and the combination of their neuters and settling into a stable home environment may help improve that behavior. At night, LIL MANN and LIL GIZMO sleep in the big bed with their foster parents. They tend to move around searching for the perfect sleeping spot but usually end up close to the pillows, keeping their people company while they sleep. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola).
