About Zoey

Zoey has been through a lot, but you would never know it from her sweet personality. When Zoey's owner was admitted to the ICU and never came home, she was left behind along with several other dogs. Through no fault of her own, her entire world changed overnight. | By the time she arrived here, her coat was so severely matted that she had to be shaved down completely. Through the entire grooming process, Zoey never fussed, never complained, and patiently allowed me to help her feel comfortable again. That gentle, trusting nature perfectly sums up who she is. | At around 3 years old, Zoey is a sweet Shih Tzu mix who gets along well with other dogs and cats. She has an easygoing personality and seems happy just being part of a family. | Her coat may be short right now, but it will grow back. Underneath that neglected coat was an absolutely adorable little dog who is now ready for a fresh start. | Zoey is the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much.
