��%90%BE Looking for the Right Home for Basil ��%90%BE Basil is a 3-year-old, 45-pound Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever mix searching for a loving home where she can thrive. She loves being active and would do best with someone who enjoys spending time outdoors and can provide the physical exercise and mental stimulation she needs. Basil is happiest when she has an outlet for her energy. Making the decision to rehome Basil has been incredibly difficult. Due to unexpected unemployment and financial hardship, we are no longer able to provide the continued training, time, and resources that she deserves. Basil is crate trained, up to date on her vaccinations, and has a solid foundation of professional training. She completed a three-week board-and-train program with trainer Tracey at K9 Diversity Training in Orlando, Florida, followed by additional training sessions and boarding stays. She has been trained using a combination of positive reinforcement and a prong collar under professional guidance. Rewarding good behavior with treats has been an important part of her training, and her future owner should be prepared to continue reinforcing positive behaviors consistently. Basil does struggle with anxiety, which means she needs an owner who can provide patience, consistency, and ongoing guidance. She has already made progress through professional training. Basil would do best with an active individual or family who understands working breeds and is committed to continuing her training and helping her succeed. She has so much love, loyalty, and companionship to offer, and she deserves a home where she can continue to grow and thrive. ���%8D Located in Orlando, Florida, but we are willing to travel for the right home.
