About Secret (Snickers)

Secret is the product of a backyard breeder. Mom is a blue heeler and dad is most likely a shepherd. She is now a tad over 5 months and was recently taken in by independent rescuers in Alabama. She has received medical care for neglect, shots, wormed and the fosters have been working with her to help her adjust to a real home and people. She is adapting very well and coming out of her shell. This beautiful girl will be coming to Florida in the next week or two. We are in need of a foster or foster to adopt. Must be dog savvy, patient and able to read dog and go at her pace while adjusting to new situations. This girl has had no socialization until recently so we would like to continue to move forward with her. Another kind dog would be great she is good with other dogs, and a fenced yard will be a must also for her. Her new people should ideally have dog sense, and be able to set firm and consistent boundaries and continue training with her. She is estimated to be around 6 months old, up to date on vaccines, unaltered as of now. She is a cattle dog mix. She is adjusting to her new foster life and is coming out of her shell. She was very timid at first, she is a huge sweetie but is nervous in new settings. Secret came from a life of neglect but is currently receiving a ton of TLC.
