Unique white Shepherd, Franciso, needs out of the shelter NOW!!! The following is from one of the rescue org. that is taking applications to foster, can also foster to adopt: Came in as a stray. Urgent medical case! Has an old fracture and needs to be kept on crate rest. Very sweet and tested well with a female dog. End. Chicago Animal Care and Control/CACC, municipal shelter where he is at, is full, which tragically leads to some very good doggies having to be euthanized for space. Shepherds are high on that list. Purebred Shepherds are not able to be fostered/nor adopted through the shelter, have to go through a rescue org., apply to them. If foster and while in process of foster to adopt, which for Francisco would be til his medical issue has been addressed, the rescue org. covers all medical needs, food, .... Following rescues are taking applications to foster/foster to adopt sweet Francisco: German Shepherd Rescue, Inc. if live in Chicagoland area/parts of Indiana (gsrescue1.org) and Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue if in Wisconsin/Northern Illinois(www.mlgsdr.com) .
