About Luna-FOSTER NEEDED NOW

URGENT need for a foster parent for beautiful Luna through a rescue org.!!! Can also foster to adopt through them. Shepherds are at an increased risk of being euthanized when the shelter, Chicago Animal Care and Control, gets over-capacity. The shelter has a policy of mostly not offering purebred Shepherds up for adoption. Luna is only rescue due to this policy, therefore chance of making it out of there is even more decreased! The rescue orgs. that are taking foster/foster to adopt applications for her are: German Shepherd Rescue, Inc. if live in Chicagoland area/parts of Indiana(gsrescue1.org) and Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue if in Wisconsin/Northern Illinois(www.mlgsdr.com). Sharing the following from the rescue org. that is taking applications: Luna is 7 years old. Came to the shelter as an owner surrender because they don't have time to care for her. Owner said she's friendly with kids and dogs. A little timid and head shy when first approached, but warmed up. Knows sit. She is doing a lot of pacing/owner searching. She was tolerant of an annoying puppy who was trying to jump on her. Cats unknown. End. Do not message the email link below, unless having some issues, have to go through the aforementioned rescues.
