About Beauty-FOSTER NEEDED

URGENT need for a foster parent for sweet Beauty through a rescue org.!!! Can also foster to adopt through it. Shepherds are at an increased risk of being euthanized when the shelter, Chicago Animal Care and Control, gets over-capacity. The shelter has a policy of mostly not offering purebred Shepherds up for adoption. Beauty is only rescue due to this policy, therefore chance of making it out of there is even more decreased! The rescue orgs. that are taking foster/foster to adopt applications for Beauty are: German Shepherd Rescue, Inc. if live in Chicagoland area/parts of Indiana(gsrescue1.org) and Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue if in Wisconsin/Northern Illinois(www.mlgsdr.com). Sharing the following from the rescue org.: Beauty is 6 years old. Came in as an owner surrender because moving and can't take with. Owner said she is friendly with kids, dogs and cats, including small dogs. Very friendly and no issues with handling, did well meeting another dog. She knows sit and is also doing lots of owner searching at the shelter. Walks well on leash. End. The dogs will not be listed on the rescue sites, since do not have the dogs, looking for fosters/fosters to adopt. Please, if can help sweet Beauty, fill out an application with the rescue orgs.!!!
