About Koda

Koda is a handsome young Lab mix, approximately 1-1.5 years old and around 65 pounds. We rescued him from the street a few months ago, and since then he has made tremendous progress in learning to trust people and navigate the world with more confidence. Koda is affectionate, intelligent, and loyal. He loves snuggling with his people, walks and hikes, car rides, relaxing in the sun, and playing with chew toys. Once he forms a bond, he is incredibly devoted and enjoys being close to those he trusts. Because of his background, Koda can be cautious around unfamiliar people and new situations. He does best with patient, understanding people who are willing to give him time to adjust and continue building his confidence through positive reinforcement and consistency. Koda would thrive in a calm, stable home with someone who understands dog body language and is committed to helping him continue to grow. We believe he would do best in an adult home or a home with respectful teenage children.
