Meet Lumi Breed: Chorkie (Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua Mix) Age: 1-2 years old Weight: 7 lbs Gender: Female Location: Miami, FL Lumi is a tiny little sweetheart looking for a patient and loving home. At just 7 pounds, she's the perfect lap-sized companion who enjoys being close to her people once she feels comfortable. Like many small dogs, Lumi can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with time, patience, and consistency, she blossoms into a loving and loyal companion. Lumi is looking for a calm home where she can continue to build her confidence. Because of her small size and sensitive nature, she would do best in a home without young children. She enjoys the company of other small, friendly dogs and would love a family that understands that trust takes time. Lumi requires a secure, small fenced yard. She does not do well on leash walks and becomes extremely frightened when taken outside of a secure environment. Because of this, she is considered a significant flight risk and must have a safely fenced yard for potty breaks and exercise. Apartments, condos, and homes without a secure fenced yard will not be considered. Lumi is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and ready to find a forever family committed to giving her the love and stability she deserves.
