About Fleck

American Staffordshire Terrier / Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Hi! My name is Fleck, and apparently I'm up for adoption. Personally, I think this is great news because it means I get to find my very own family. I'm a 3-4 month old puppy, about 22 pounds, with some pretty handsome markings, adorable freckled feet, and what my foster family calls 'distinguished gentleman' looks. I try not to let it go to my head. P.S. Don't forget to zoom in on my freckled feet. They're kind of my best feature. My hobbies include: Collecting squeaky toys Chewing on appropriate things Riding in the car like a professional Giving world-class cuddles Following my humans around I've met teenagers and think they're pretty awesome. I would do good with kids with respectful dog manners. I did fantastic at the vet, and I've started learning leash walking. I've only been on a leash a couple of times, but I'm already showing lots of potential. My energy level is about a 3-4 out of 10. I enjoy playing and having little bursts of puppy fun, but I'm actually a pretty chill guy overall. I know 'sit' (most of the time), and am already such a rockstar in learning not to jump on guests. I'd love another dog to play with, but it's not required. I'd be just as happy being your one-and-only as long as I get plenty of love, toys, and cuddle time. I sleep quietly in my crate all night and settle down quickly when my humans leave the house. I'm doing really well with house training, use a doggy door, and only have the occasional puppy accident. My perfect home will understand that I'm still a puppy and have a few things left to learn. In return, I promise to be your loyal sidekick, best snuggle buddy, and biggest fan. Think we might be a match? Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue ([email protected]) for lots more info and photos of this adorable baby! Puppies under 6 months of age should not be routinely left alone for a full workday. Fleck's adopter should have a plan for midday potty breaks, enrichment, and socialization if away from home for extended periods.
