Rocket is a 4 year old Lab/Basset mix with the most adorable low rider body and a personality that wins everyone over fast. He is happy, friendly, affectionate, and already becoming a volunteer favorite. Rocket loves going for walks, exploring, getting attention, and showing off the basic commands he already knows. He was amazing in the car on his ride from the shelter and has been easy to handle with everyone he has met. Rocket will do best with a structured, experienced home that can help him continue to feel safe and secure. Resource guarding was observed during shelter testing, so proper management around food, toys, bones, and other high value items will be important.
