About Nova

I have been fostering this sweet girl since I found her in the middle the street one day while working. I have tried multiple times to find a home for her but none of my friends are actively looking for a dog. When I found her, she was covered in ticks, fleas, and had worms. Her paw was infected. I am pretty sure she was being abused by whoever was 'taking care' of her. I have been using a maze bowl to feed her because she must have had to fight for food as well when she was younger. She's around 3 years old. She's about 35 pounds. I am not sure exactly what kind of dog she is but she has a strong sense of smell and is very fast. She is a high energy dog and really needs to be with someone who has a lot of land or a big fenced in yard. She is wonderful with cats and kids. She is a little nervous around men at first but easily warms up. She needs a little time to adjust to be good with dogs. She has always been great with my dogs and other dogs she has met when my friends bring their dogs over. Some dogs do make her a little nervous but as long as she is given time to adjust she will eventually want to play. She is house trained and kennel trained. She loves running around outside and loves to play fetch. She is a smuggler and wants all the attention. She is such a sweetheart. I am moving in a couple of months and will not be able to continue to foster her because of the move as I might have to live in an apartment the first year. She would be a wonderful addition to a home with kids or someone with a big fenced in yard. You won't regret adopting this sweet and lovable girl.
