About DAFFODIL

DAFFODIL is a beautiful 1�%BD-year-old, 13.7-pound Chihuahua mix who came to us after being found as a stray in the country with several other dogs. She is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet and is looking for a family with a fenced yard, lots of love, and plenty of snuggle time. DAFFODIL is a gentle little old soul who simply wants to be close to her person. She loves being held, sitting beside you, following you around, and curling up next to you under a couple of blankets. She'll happily spend the day keeping you company and soaking up every bit of attention you have to give. DAFFODIL gets along well with small and medium dogs and would love a friendly canine sibling, although she could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only if she gets plenty of attention. She does well with older kids and is okay with chickens. She will bark at cats but doesn't chase them. She can have a little stranger danger and may bark when new people arrive, but she settles once she realizes everything is okay. DAFFODIL is housebroken and will bark to let you know when she needs to go outside. She enjoys lounging in the sunshine and exploring the yard, so a securely fenced yard is ideal since squirrels can be quite tempting! And don't let her little legs fool you-this girl LOVES going for walks! She walks beautifully on a leash and would make a wonderful companion for leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. DAFFODIL enjoys going for car rides and would happily tag along on adventures with her favorite person. And then there are those adorably oversized, expressive ears-they're impossible to miss and somehow make her even more endearing! At bedtime, she's happy to climb under the covers and snuggle with her person-although she may gradually push you right out of your own bed. Apparently, 13.7 pounds of Chihuahua mix requires approximately 98% of the mattress. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola).
