About Moose

Moose is a 6-year-old German Shepherd (90 lbs.) located in Southern Vermont who is looking for a loving adult home where he can bond and thrive. Raised in our family since puppyhood, Moose is an incredibly intelligent, loyal, and affectionate companion. He forms deep bonds with his people and is happiest when he's included in everyday life. He enjoys playing frisbee, hiking, swimming, and curling up for a nap. Moose is emotionally intuitive, deeply devoted, and loves being close to his people. He has lived & bonded with female dogs and cats, and loves all adults. Moose is in excellent health, fully grown at 90 lbs., and has many wonderful years ahead of him. He is looking for a calm, stable home without young children where he can relax and feel secure. Transitioning Moose to another home is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and we are committed to finding the right long-term match for him. We are happy to share more about Moose's personality, history, and routines with you!
