About Gunnar

Meet Gunnar This striking young Shepherd is searching for a new home after the tragic loss of his owner. Gunnar was previously trained and used as a personal protection dog and is looking for an experienced owner to become his new handler. He comes from a strong pedigree and has the drive, intelligence, and potential to excel as a working dog. Preference is given to IGP, PSA, or PPD homes!!!! Because of his background and needs, we are only willing to place Gunnar in a home that will continue to provide him with structure, training, and daily mental and physical challenges. He is not suitable for a first-time dog owner and should not be placed in a home with young children. Gunnar does well with female dogs and has met a couple of male dogs successfully. However, any resident dogs will need to meet Gunnar before an adoption can be approved. We are committed to finding the right match for this special boy. If you think you can provide the experienced, active home Gunnar deserves, we'd love to hear from you. ��%90%BE An adoption application must be submitted before moving forward with a meet and greet. Meet and greets are typically scheduled within one week of an approved application. For the right person, Gunnar will be an incredible partner, companion, and working dog.
