5 year old little Stella came to us from San Francisco Animal Control after being surrendered by an owner who was dealing with eviction. It's clear that this 13 lb terrier was loved. Which makes it all the more confusing to her to be in a completely new environment with new people. Despite being very timid, she is incredibly sweet and has not shown an ounce of aggression. She is gradually warming up and gaining confidence in her foster home and now gets zoomies at meal time, asks for belly rubs and snuggles, goes on walks with her foster sibling (another small female pup.) She seems to do well with small dogs, though large and rambunctious dogs make her a nervous. She is beginning to trust strangers and will accept a gentle ear scratch. Her exercise needs are minimal - a couple short walks around the block seem to do the trick. She is crate and potty trained and her little mohawk melts hearts. Please apply to meet Stella and give her the stability and routine that she craves. Fill out an app at www.hairofthedogrescue.pet
