��'ە�%8F Meet Benson ��'ە�%8F ���%8D Howard, OH ��Z� 10 Weeks Old If sunshine, puppy breath, and pure happiness were rolled into one adorable package, you'd get Benson. At just 10 weeks old, Benson is already proving he's a pretty smart little guy. He's taking notes from his foster sister, Gidget, and is learning sit, stay, and shake with both hand signals and verbal cues. Basically, he's the teacher's pet without even trying. Benson is doing fantastic with potty training. He uses the dog door like a pro and isn't shy about filing a formal complaint if it's closed when he needs it. His favorite activities include: ��Z%BE Playing fetch (returning the ball remains a work in progress) ��%90%BE Playing with his foster sister ��θ Supervising the backyard from a shady spot ���%A4 Taking naps in places that make absolutely no sense He has a perfectly good soft puppy bed, but often chooses to squeeze himself between the couch and ottoman like a furry little throw pillow. Nobody knows why. Benson certainly isn't explaining himself. When he's not busy being adorable, he's busy being affectionate. This boy loves cuddles and is always happy to curl up for a puppy nap next to his favorite people. Benson does have Megaesophagus (MegaE). MegaE is a condition where the esophagus doesn't move food into the stomach normally, so dogs need to eat and drink in an upright position to help gravity do the work. Because of this, Benson comes with his own Bailey Chair-which he treats less like medical equipment and more like his personal VIP dining throne. The best part? Benson doesn't know he's supposed to be 'different.' He plays, snuggles, learns, and gets into normal puppy mischief just like any other puppy. We've only seen him regurgitate once, and that was after he chugged water like he'd crossed the Sahara Desert and immediately blasted into full-speed zoomies. Lesson learned. MegaE is simply part of who Benson is-it doesn't define him. His life is far more impacted by typical puppy concerns such as: ��ӕ�%8F Where is my toy? ��ӕ�%8F Why is my foster sister ignoring me? ��ӕ�%8F Is this snack for me? ��ӕ�%8F Can I fit between these two pieces of furniture? (Answer: probably.) Benson is a little ray of sunshine who brings smiles everywhere he goes. He's sweet, smart, playful, snuggly, and ready to find a family who will love him just as much as we do. While we'll miss him dearly, we know his future family is going to absolutely adore this special little boy. �%9D%A4��%8F��%90%BE��'ە�%8F����
