About Maximus

Maximus is a purebred Australian Cattle Dog which we purchased from an AKC registered breeder, Maximus is eligible for AKC registration also if the new owner wishes to do so. All documents will be provided. Maximus is 1 year and 10 months old. Maximus completed dog training locally and knows many commands. Sit, place, down, stay, leave it, etc. He loves to play catch, loves frisbees, loves his herding ball. Due to the issues of typical cattle dogs, he has attached himself to my wife and within the home he isn't keen on me being around her. Outdoors there have been absolutely no issues with his temperament. He has absolutely no issues being around other dogs. He has had no issues being around other people. He has shown discomfort around young children. From my research this may be due to his herding instinct and with training could change. We do not have children. I am trying to find him a new home so that he does not need to be euthanized. We can no longer provide him a home. He will make someone a great dog.
