About Aki

Aki is an almost 8-year-old Spitz mix looking for her perfect retirement home! I originally took Aki in as a temporary foster when her owner experienced a major life change and was no longer able to take her back. He has since asked me to help find Aki (and her friends) loving forever homes where they can spend their golden years surrounded by love. Aki has a history of doing well with children, other dogs, and strangers. She has not been tested with cats. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and settles well into home life. What truly makes Aki special is her affectionate personality. She absolutely adores people and is happiest when she's close to her humans, whether that's cuddling on the couch, following you around the house, or simply soaking up attention. If you're looking for a dog that loves to love, Aki is your girl! She also enjoys spending time outdoors and would thrive in a home that can give her both companionship and opportunities to enjoy the fresh air.
