Tommy is a gorgeous and sweet, four-year-old, 11.7-pound, male, golden-eyed, orange and white tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. Tommy has tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV) so he can only live with cats who also carry the virus, or with dogs! He is actually living at a doggie daycare and is absolutely fine with dogs. Tommy is well-behaved in the home and great with his litter box. Because he faced food insecurity on the streets, now he's living happily indoors and has turned into quite the chubby foodie. He's gained three pounds since coming to the rescue. With those he loves, Tommy is quite sweet and snuggly. He loves ipad games and hanging out with his peeps. He's also very talkative and engaging. He's a healthy dude with an ear tip acknowledging that he was TNR'd (trapped, neutered and relased). Tommy is vaccinated for rabies and distemper, and microchipped. FeLV is a type of virus that can spread via saliva, feces, urine and milk. Some cats are born with the virus; it can also spread through cat colonies. To meet and possibly adopt Tommy, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet him. His adoption fee of $175 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is being fostered in Chicago.
