Oreo is a rescue from Okanogan County WA. We adopted her about a year ago from a local animal rescue and there was not much information on her other than she was pulled from the euthanasia list and had just had a litter of puppies. Oreo is approximately 2.5-3 years old and we think she is an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix. She is a medium sized girly currently about 68lbs but is on a diet through her vet to get back down to 55lbs which is a healthier weight for her. She is up to date on vaccinations, and we can provide her medical records from our vet. She is spayed and has had one litter of puppies. She gets along with other medium/large dogs and would love a playmate. She does not do well with smaller dogs and was put in time out at doggy daycare for herding them around so larger dogs would be best for her. She got along with our elderly cat but he was not scared of dogs and never ran from her. They would lay together. We are not sure how she would do with a cat that ran. Oreo loves to go on walks and is a good running partner. She loves playing with stuffed animals and tug of war with our other dog. She would do best with adults and older kids. We know she is some kind of herding breed and she will 'herd' small children/small dogs especially if they run. Please let me know if you have any other questions on Oreo and I will follow up!
