About Joey

Joey came into rescue due to leash reactivity. His previous owner did not feel capable of fixing the problem. Joey needs a firm but fair hand and an active lifestyle. Joey is great out in play groups with most dogs. He does not do well with other dominant males. He will chase cats, so I do not recommend a home with cats. He loves people(adults and kids) however is a little much for kids and will knock them down if not supervised. He is high energy and needs someone with Corgi experience. I will not place him with someone who is new to the breed. He also needs someone with training experience or someone willing to take on going training classes with him. He is crate trained and rides quietly in the car. He is getting better on a leash but will pull if not corrected. He is dog reactive on the leash, so you must be vigilant with him to get him past this. He is a smart and fun boy with a neat personality. Contact me if you think you are his person.
