About Maka

This is Maka, she's a 2.5 year old purebred malinois. I rescued her about a month ago from someone that couldn't take care of her needs, knowing that I would have to rehome her somehow. She's incredibly intelligent, loving and playful with tons of energy. She came to me with very little training and now we work on new commands everyday and she now knows sit, stay, heal, whisper, speak, paw, through, right, left, up down and more that just don't come to mind. Her main issue is socialization and reactiveness outside the home. At home she listens and behaves perfectly but outside the house she gets too excited and needs someone who is experienced in dog training to help her understand how to act outside. She took a while to get used to my cats but now that she's used to them they just ignore each other. She did have a blockage (she swallowed some stuffing) and had to have it removed but she's all healed up now and back to her normal self. I am asking a small rehoming fee to help with the medical bills from that surgery. She's fine with children. Please help Maka find her forever home!
