As you can see, Bruce is one handsome pup! With his shiny black coat, a splash of white on his chest, and those absolutely irresistible ears, he's sure to steal your heart. At approximately 5-6 months old and weighing around 35 pounds, Bruce is growing into a beautiful young dog with an even more beautiful personality. Bruce is an exceptional young dog with a heart as big as his personality. While he loves adventure and play, what truly makes Bruce special is how incredibly affectionate he is. He adores being with his people and never misses an opportunity to lean in for pets, snuggle beside you, or curl up for a nap after a fun-filled day. He forms strong bonds with the people he loves and is happiest when he's included as part of the family. Bruce is house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows several commands, including sit, stay, down, and paw. He is incredibly intelligent, eager to please, and loves learning new things, making training both fun and rewarding. As an active young pup, Bruce thrives on exercise, play, and adventure. He loves chasing a ball or frisbee, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors. He would be happiest with an active family that enjoys daily walks, hikes, trips to the park, or backyard games. Keeping both his body and mind engaged allows him to shine. Bruce also has wonderful manners. He walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and gets along well with other dogs. Whether you're setting off on a new adventure or spending a quiet evening at home, Bruce will be right by your side, ready to share every moment. Bruce's family loved him very much, but due to unexpected financial and work-related challenges, they made the difficult decision to surrender him to FHDR so he could have the life and opportunities he deserves. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit.
