We adopted him at Northeast animal shelter in Salem, Massachusetts We have just bought a condo and he tends to get excitement aggression towards me (a female). He is a cattle dog mix, so he goes for my ankles and calfs, but when outside, he will jump and try to bite my arms. I try to settle him down and stop him but he will show his teeth and has bite me a couple times out of aggression. He's a great dog when relaxing, but the moment he gets over excited, he becomes aggressive. It is very tough for us to stop him when he gets over excited, even after months of training, several training techniques, etc. We rehomed him with my fiancs parents which he did the same behavior to my mother-in-law. They have a very large yard, so we thought he would be happier and more enriched there. He would bite her and show his teeth, but he never did with my fianc or father-in-law. With my in laws, they have two small dogs, one of them is the excited one that will chase him around the yard, but at some point, it gets too crazy to the point where we'd have to stop and break it up. Levi seems to not realize that he is bigger compared to the smaller cavaliers, so he doesn't know his own strength with them. When children are running around, he gets over excited and goes after clothes and ankles and jumps on top of them and pushes them down. If there are any questions, I am happy to answer any.
