About Doug (Dougie)

Dougie the traveler made it all the way to NC from the great city of Memphis! He was found in an abandoned parking lot one day but this tough boy persevered until he was rescued. He then has become a foster and been in 2 loving homes, with the sincere hope of his next one being his FOREVER loving home. Dougie has an excellent temperament. He is great with other dogs, cats, free-roaming chickens, and kids! He is still a puppy, so he has great energy, but also loves to lay down and relax with him family. He loves long walks (because he gets a LONG nap after!), playing in water, and cuddles. He is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps in his own big boy bed at night. He knows many commands for such a young dog (sit, stay, wait to eat, no pull on leash, focus on leash, come) and is still working on them every day. Dougie deserves the best of the best. He is an incredible dog who will be a companion and a best friend for the remainder of his long doggie life. Please reach out for inquiries!
