* 7 month old Terrier mix * spayed * small in size; weighs around 25 pounds * owner surrender by no fault of her own; they said she wasn't active enough * calm and quiet; mostly lays on her bed * the shelter environment is overwhelming for Pearl; she welcomes and enjoys your pets once she feels safe and trusts you * smart- knows the sit command * gentle treat taker * wants to please Pearl is much smaller than she looks in this close up picture; weighing about 25 pounds. Poor little Pearl is confused and sad to be here. The shelter is a scary place for her as it can be for many dogs with all the loud noise and unfamiliar faces. She lays curled up on her bed wondering why she's here and where her forever family is. Pearl is a little shy at first but she's submissive and once she feels safe she relaxes more. She is calm and as quiet as a mouse. She has good manners and she's very submissive with people. Sweet Pearl would love to have a home quickly. She would do best with someone who can give her time to adjust and feel safe/secure in her new environment. All she really wants is a chance to be a loved companion, can you give her a safe and secure home? Come meet this pretty girl and share her picture to help her find a home quickly! The shelter is full!
