About Maybelle

Introducing Maybelle, a spayed female, black lab/heeler mix, approximately 4-5 years old, and weighing 50 lbs. Maybelle was rescued by my brother-in-law in 2022 and she was with him until he passed away. She is up to date on all her vaccines. She likes to ride in the car and does very well sitting quietly in the rear seat. She walks well on a leash and enjoys walks in the morning and evening. She goes to an offleash dog park several times a week, where she loves to run and play with the other dogs. She is good with other dogs of all sizes, both male and female. She also loves kids and has been around kids (ages 11 to 16) for the last 4 years. She doesn't chew on things, doesn't try to dash out an open door, and does not 'counter surf'. She's not bothered by noises or the vacuum cleaner, just a very relaxed and laid-back dog. At night, Maybelle sleeps on a large pet bed in the living room. There is also a chair that we allow her to get on and sometimes she will nap there. We've left her alone in the house with no issues and no accidents.
